Our Beliefs
We believe in a world where every child should have an equal opportunity to play. The cost of sports/athletic gear should never be a factor that prevents a child from participating and enjoying physical activity. We want to make a change by providing these necessities to a diverse group of sports programs located all around the Southeastern coast of the United States. Participation should NOT have a price tag.
Background
Who Needs Our Help?
In many public schools the physical education program is either underfunded or cut. This prevents students all around the US from participating in quality physical activity. P.E coaches and teachers have to do the best they can with the resources provided by the district. Most schools are forced to reuse the same athletic equipment year after year without ever receiving new items. This equipment is damaged, torn, and basically unusable, but these kids have no other option, but to deal with it. Mr. Padilla and I recently visited the elementary school we attended back in 2008 to see if their P.E program needed any help. We were stunned to see that the equipment (basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, hula hoops, and jump ropes) we used over 10 years ago is the same exact equipment that the current elementary students are using in 2022. Schools all around the world deal with these same issues and we need your help to make a change!
